Bones are a symbol of many things and serve many purposes. They are the anchor and frame of the physical body, they support and protect organs and the internal various parts. Strong, yet light, they miraculously produce blood cells while the body lives, helping to keep beings alive. When the body dies, the bones remain, a symbol of what once was. I find my bones in nature, usually camouflaged in a bundle of fall colored crispy leaves. An animal's bones mostly dry and free of any remnants of life, cleaned by the scavengers and time and the elements. How beautifully nature works.
