Isabelle Truchon's Fragment No. 9, is the 9th of nine mixed media works cast from an original clay relief of a tree inspired by the works of one of my favorite artists, Piet Mondrian. Being the last casting, Fragment No.9 is but a vestige of the original tree relief from which it was cast, yet still, it holds a deep and profound essence and beauty.
Fragment No.9 — $500
Isabelle Truchon's Fragment No. 8, is the 8th of nine mixed media works cast from an original clay relief of a tree inspired by the works of one of my favorite artists, Piet Mondrian. Being the eight casting, Fragment No.8 is but a fragment of the original tree relief from which it was cast, a natural occurrence of this casting process, similar to the process of aging. The last few Fragments, are mere vestiges of the original piece, yet still hold a deep and profound essence and beauty.

Isabelle Truchon Art. Somewhat Faded, Somewhat Jaded... what does this life entail? Why, where what how and why? These and others are the questions I often ask myself. Especially when admiring starry night skies in the middle of nowhere. Though I don't know the answers to my questions, I somehow feel okay.
