Fragment No.2

Fragment NO. 2, is the second of nine mixed media works cast from an original clay relief of a tree inspired by the works of one of my favorite artists, Piet Mondrian. Being the second casting, Fragment NO.2 is not quite as full as NO.1. The following 7 Fragments gradually continue to degrade in wholeness, a natural occurrence of the casting process, similar to the process of aging. The last few Fragments, are mere vestiges of the original piece, yet still hold a deep and  profound essence and beauty.
