Fragment No.3

Fragment No. 3, is the 3rd of nine mixed media works cast from an original clay relief of a tree inspired by the works of one of my favorite artists, Piet Mondrian. Being the third casting, Fragment No.3 is not quite as full as No.2. The following 6 Fragments gradually continue to degrade in wholeness, a natural occurrence of the casting process, similar to the process of aging. The last few Fragments, are mere vestiges of the original piece, yet still hold a deep and  profound essence and beauty.
