Old Soul is a horse I met in the holding pen at the Bureau of Land Management holding facility. He was certainly once a free roaming being of the western desert now reduced to a certain lifetime of walking along the metal guard rails he is contained in. His burled mane, and heavy stature profiled has he looks upon the horizon and the plains surrounding him. So close, yet unreachable now.
